Job Description

Working remotely on mainly Residential projects, also occasional commercial projects. At Paradigm Landscapes we carry out all hard and soft landscaping. From design & quote to build and aftercare, we take pride in everything we do. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of our delivery.

As a Landscape operative at Paradigm Landscapes, no day is the same. One project you could be setting out a planting plant and planting beds, the next you could be constructing natural stone cladded walls or even building garden rooms and out buildings.

As a Landscape Operative with Paradigm Landscapes you will be able to work independently or as part of a larger team.

We undertake projects predominantly in Glasgow and surrounding areas. We also undertake projects in Edinburgh and Stirling.

As an experienced landscaper you will be required to have a strong knowledge and experience in all soft landscaping & turfing, including a limited knowledge of plants and planting. You will also need to demonstrate a strong skillset in decking, woodwork, fencing, brickwork, all types of paving, mono block driveways etc.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

Hard Landscaping Requirements

· Setting out and laying of all types of paving.

· Setting out and laying of all types of block paving.

· Experience in all types of woodwork including fencing, sleepers, decking.

· Operate a wide range of power tools competently and safely, including diggers and dumpers.

· An understanding of company RAMS.

· Experience in brick and blockwork

· A good knowledge of plants and planting and how to identify plants.

· Able to work alone of as part of the leadership team when required.

Soft Landscape Works

· Preparation of ground for turfing, seeding or planting and soil, laying turf, sowing seed, positioning and planting of plants, trees and shrubs, providing ongoing aftercare.

Professionalism and Values

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

· Driving Licence

· Minimum of 4 years of Hard Landscaping experience

· Knowledge and experience in brick laying

Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

· CSCS, CPCS or NPORS certification and/or relevant construction/plant operations SVQ.

Package:

· Salary Banding – £27,000-£31,000 Pa
